The sensor's placement can help detect water leaks in high-risk areas, preventing unexpected floods and protecting valuables. The device offers three adjustable volume levels, allowing users to set the suitable alarm volume, and a one-key option to quickly cancel the alarm through the hub or app.

When the two probes touch the water simultaneously, a current loop is formed, and the sensor reports the water immersion/water leakage status to the hub, triggering an alarm. The water leak sensor may go offline due to various reasons, such as being too far from the hub, low battery, or signal interference from a metal surface. To reconnect the sensor, users should follow the device addition method, move the sensor closer to the hub, or check for any overload on the hub's sub-devices.

The water leak sensor is designed to trigger an alarm when the detected water level reaches a height of 2mm. The hub's connection to Wi-Fi allows for remote monitoring of leaks, with a range of up to 100 meters, enabling users to monitor water leakage events even in the basement (only supporting 2.4G Wi-Fi).
